Jeffrey Bernstein also has an 84 page shot-by-shot analysis of the first half of Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut. I agree with Bernstein that EWS is underrated, but this verges on scholarly logorrhea. He saw the film seven times within the first three weeks release, and more than a hundred times since. Perhaps he should publish a 15-20 page summary of his most salient points? (4) #
