Excerpt in Wired
Off-topic: if you're a regular reader of crazymonk.org, check out page 20 of the latest issue of Wired magazine, with Sarah Silverman on the cover: Jon May has a Futurama-related excerpt from one of his comments on this blog.
<<< Back from the caucus Pictures and more from the Nevada caucus >>>

What. The. Fuck.
By the way, they asked me for permission to print something from that post, but I didn't realize it was going to be someone else's comment.
Also, I question your use of the term "off-topic." Does this blog have a particular domain? It's not like every post has to be about some kind of animal on some kind of transportation, etc.
I condone any and all uses of my comments...if I didn't want people to know I said it, I probably wouldn't post it here (at least not under my own name). Were you contacted randomly, or do you/does this blog have a Wired connection?
Scan! Scan! Or I could just get off my butt and go to the store.
If you have a Wired connection, I demand to know the name of an editor to pitch articles to.
I meant off the topic of the caucus.
I was contacted randomly.

Hey, very cool. Way to go Jon and Monk!
I don't have a scanner, but I'll give the text here:
"What made Futurama different and strange was that it was so full of the nerd side of pop culture that it was somewhat hostile to outsiders. -- Jon May, Excerpted from CrazyMonk.org"
I had a camera handy:

Oh, yeah. I have a camera.
I am buying 20 copies of that issue and sending them to my family. Thanks for facilitating this!
Jon May is never off topic.
Hey, I just realized this marks the second time I was quoted in a print publication without my knowledge, and both times CM was responsible. If I ever need to hire a PR person, I'm coming to you!
First time?
Tufts daily quote of the day:
"People who quote others have nothing to say for themselves."
Ah, yes. That was the best.
That's a huge pull quote, Jon. You're famous! And authoritative!
