Zowie Bowie
Ever since the Red Rock Casino opened last year, they've been heavily advertising Zowie Bowie's weekly performance there. I had always assumed that this Zowie Bowie was the child of David Bowie, AKA Duncan Jones, but never really looked into it.
After reading this article today, I realized that I was very wrong. The Red Rock Zowie Bowie is not the son of David Bowie. No, the Vegas Zowie Bowie is a flashy man/woman duo.
How odd. I wonder what Duncan Jones thinks of it.

My parents saw someone named Something Joel singing at a Casino in Connecticut and assumed it was Billy Joel's daughter.
(She wasn't literally named 'Something')
if it was alexa joel, that is his daughter. she's a singer/songwriter, so it's definitely possible.
i wonder how zowie bowie pronounce their name? And based on their website i hope to never see them perform. steve and edie for the 21st century? how much of a turn-off is that?!
Just saw Chris & Marley (Zowie Bowie) at Red Rock this weekend... thought the same Bowie thing at the beginning - a bit miffed, but then had so much fun dancing to them, didn't care -- they are great fun for a night out.
Hey Jon May, go to one of their shows and see if you feel the same after! They bring a refreshing change to a very old, worn-out, city of sin. You have my vote Zowie Bowie!
Zowie Bowie is an amazing musical treat that gives us a reason to go to Red Rock Casino instead of any other Casino ... It is like seeing Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, in the old days before they became a national phenomenon ... See them now and remember them when they are so famous that Red Rock won't be able to hold on to them!
We stopped in last night after going to the movie with another couple and we all hung out and had a blast ... Everyone there was having a rockin time!!!

I brought a friend from LA to Red Rock Casino, just to see them. They are smokin hot! Marley took the time to shake hands wih me, my friend and a bunch of other fans who were watching at the edge of the stage. They were amazing, great vibe. Great music - I check them out on the weekends when I'm not in LA in town - They are so off the hook! They make Red Rock the place to go.
