The Diamond Age miniseries

Neal Stephenson is adapting The Diamond Age for the Sci-Fi network as a 6-hour miniseries. And I was thinking about listing that book as unfilmable.

They'll have to invent nano-cameras.

Is somebody working on a Snowcrash movie? Or is the tech in that just going to seem quaint and not play well in a modern film?
