Wow! I am glad that you guys clued me into a skit that I saw on SNL and an internet sensation that was discussed on Late Night.

Is this supposed to be funny? I actually think it is incredibly romantic.

incidentally, i haven't watched SNL at all this season and had no idea this had become popular. i was searching for some of smigel's great christmas cartoons ("fun with real audio christmas" "christmas time for the jews" etc.) and the steve martin christmas bit, and found this.
