fascinating. i agree with ethan that there are dangers in the TOS agreement insofar as SL can expropriate any and all IP generated by the residents. that reason--and many others, not the least of which is my poor aptitude in building and scripting--keeps me from doing anything significant in SL beyond using the space as a forum for exchanging ideas.
i'm not sure what the benfit of Croquet will be--if SL decides to take on the role of dictator (it has absolutely ZERO incentive to do so), everything is lost. Fewer individuals will start over in a new metaverse.
