Election Day
Today is Election Day. Wherever you are, make sure you get out and vote. If you're in Nevada, get out and vote Yes on Question 7. Here's the sixth, and final, webisode following the marijuana campaign:
<<< Don't Hang Saddam Errol Morris on Abu Ghraib >>>

why didn't they show the quote where Heverly asked the ladies in the audience if they wouldn't prefer a new coach bag to a higher auto tax (crickets chirped)? damn you, authentic!
Afro-man senses ambivalence towards Question 7. If Afro-man isn't 100% in the pro-marijuana initiative's camp, I fear you're in trouble.
good luck marco!!!!
Afro-man senses correctly, at least IME, that most college students can't be bothered to learn about what's on the ballot. :}
I was surprised not to hear Levine make the small-l libertarian argument, though perhaps that was cut along with Heverly's jaw-dropping gender stereotyping. Everything I read about political archetypes in the West says we're more libertarian than people back East, plus I'd think college students would like it.
Go Crazymonk, Go! I have been following results at http://www.accessclarkcounty.com/election/2006/GEN/results_gen.htm
Question 7 is behind, but only 20% of the vote has been reported.
Looks like 7 is losing. Sad. On the up side it looks like Titus is going to take the Governorship.
Alas, both 7 and Titus went down. Nevada is a loss, but it looks like the Dems have both the House and the Senate, if Webb keeps his late-night lead.
It looks like Titus will only have 2,000 or so more votes than Question 7. Ha.
Am I looking at different numbers than you? Anthony's link has this:
Gibbons, Jim REP 153,876 42.78%
Titus, Dina DEM 177,294 49.29%
Hey! Anthony's site sucks! Cnn has totally different numbers. Boo Anthony and his lousy site.
I blame clarke county. ANd boo to the loss. But go go senate, go!
