Grindhouse promo clip

A section of the promotional clip of Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez's double feature Grindhouse that was shown at ComicCon 2006 has been posted online. Since Tarantino's portion hadn't yet begun filming at the time this was shown, the clip consists of Rodriguez's film only, but it all looks deliciously violent.

It's good to see the best multiple-personality director in america finally allowing both his sides to come out in one movie.

That clip was odd... it was like they took the full, longer clip from Comic-Con and then trimmed it down to be trailer-length... but did so not from an original, but from the Comic-Con footage (you can hear cheering in the background). Why would someone from the audience cut the trailer down? Why not just post it at its full length?

That looks like a winner. It would be kind of fun to watch a movie like that we a cheer track throughout... I'm not sure if it would get old, but it kind of reminded me of a high school pep rally.
