Desert Storm
Last night, we in Las Vegas were blessed with an awesome lightning storm. The photo below comes from a Daily Mail article (via Drudge) which mentioned yesterday's storm. (The photo was taken from about a mile west of my apartment.)

that was behind luxor, not on it, right? it's still pretty sweet. though. good thing there's no trees or anything to burn. stucco's not flammable, right?
perhaps, but there was a raging wildfire just north of the city just last week. and we're still getting smoke from the huge one by twenty-nine palms.
the gods are angry with the casinos.....
No, the gods are advertising casinos... it's a sign, a big "look this way" sort of sign.
