G-stung boys and girls

The blow-job filled G-Sting case in Las Vegas has ended (pending appeals) with two convictions -- for two county commissioners who took bribes from a strip club owner. One of the commissioners received oral sex at a strip club as part of the bribe. But even crazier: another commissioner who took bribes performed oral sex on the strip club owner -- perhaps he kicked in a little extra that week? In any case, for those readers not from around here, this case has been dominating the newspapers for quite awhile now.

By the way, were you aware that CrazyMonk.org is now the #2 site on google when you search for Ingen Angiven? Pretty impressive. Out of 71,000!

are you telling me that the system of bribing officials doesn't involve an exchange of money for special favors and votes, but rather on an exchange of blow jobs?

yeah, where did ingen angiven come from anyway?

Back when I had that OTHER webpage I tried installing a system of leaving comments below each story before I eventually installed the forum (this was before blogging was so hands-off/easy) and it had clearly been written by some Scandanavian person because if you left your name blank it would insert "Ingen Angiven" which I'm pretty sure means something like "no name given."

I thought it sounded neat, and started using it back when I had the other webpage whenever I wanted to write about politics. People got into a strange guessing game trying to figure out who it was based on the politics and the name and eventually came up with a reasonably good guess. There was someone named something like Ingred Angiverson in the community who would have had politics similar to what I was espousing.

I was impressed at the time.

Ingen Angiven forever.

what if blowjobs weren't just "the currency of their corruption," but actual legal tender? i think it would break down some barriers.

If that were the case, I think I'd actually find myself erecting some barriers, if you know what I mean. "No, thank you, no sauce on my burger please. Keep the change."

As for the case, in my opinion, whatever else happens, whoever else goes down, I think Lance Malone -- who eventually became Galardi's right-hand man-- should go free.

I need to grow up.
