damn. i always wanted to meet her. she was still writing regular articles to the globe and mail as often as i think a few years ago. death and life is a great, great book. it will make you hate vegas even more.

Jon, I thought of you while I read the article about her, as you talked about the proposed highway as we walked through Greenwich Village. If they had built that highway it would have uprooted that Indian as we are apt to do, but it would have given the construction worker guy a job.
