Who would want to bomb Sin City?

A few months ago, many Las Vegans were shocked to hear that the federal government dropped Las Vegas off of a list of major cities receiving anti-terrorism funding. Now it turns out that the Department of Homeland Security made at least 25 errors when making their evaluation, including asserting that Las Vegas has no military bases or convention centers (it has both). Feeling secure?

Las Vegans? really? is that what you're called? isn't that spanish for "the vegans?"

(note: it was painful trying to decide between a vegetarian joke or an alien joke! too many choices! it's like friday night at at the Old Country Buffet!)

No, I don't feel secure, and I won't, really, until we get this damn war with Iran off the ground. What are they waiting for? Drop the bomb already, Jesus.

I don't think it's unrealistic to suspect that they left the city out on purpose to save money, rather than because they failed to notice that tourism is a big industry in Vegas.

No, it's not unrealistic at all. Let's call them convenient mistakes.
