Update on Nevada Explosion

Update on the 700 ton June 2 explosion on the Nevada Test Site. It's no longer clear that the test is non-nuclear, which I can't quite understand. Don't we have a Test Ban Treaty? In any case, I still hope to see the explosion, even if they're now saying it won't be visible from the city.

That story says that the blast IS non-nuclear, but that it's meant to simulate a low-yield nuclear blast.

maybe the possibly-nuclear explosion will somehow animate the 100 ft.-tall Eva Longoria Maxim cover, and she will rampage throughout downtown Vegas, bad-mouthing cops, not winning Emmys, and searching for 10ft-long shoes.

That would be AWESOME.

Shoes can't be more than one foot long. It's a technical impossibility.

Actually, that's not true. It's feet that can't be more than a foot long each. Sorry.
