Summers to Resign?
Rumors are flying around that Lawrence Summers, the president of Harvard whose signature is likely in your wallet, will resign today. This after years of angering the Harvard Black community (re: his confrontation with Cornel West) and its female community (re: his remarks on women and science). So what finally pushed him over the line?
Update: It's official, as of the end of the current term.

it's about time. what i love about all this is that both Harvard and Tufts got new presidents named Larry within a few weeks of each other -- our Larry (the good one) has significantly improved the university in myriad ways, while the other did nothing but piss people off.
