i'm not sure whose issue is with what. i'll assume that "the suck" refers to the video adaptation of the text, which does, in fact, suck. but no one had a problem with the DFW essay, did they? cause i agree with him. so yeah, i'll guess you mean that the pointless funimation is "welcome to the suck."

I mean, what is the point of that terrible animation. As for the essay, I read it a while back and really liked it. Though much like everything DFW writes, it was a little long.

Yeah, it's like Irrational Exuberance (Yatta) or the Professor Coldheart. I sort of miss the animutation phase. It had a real charm about it.
