Grow RPG

Addictive puzzle game done in Flash that will make you nostalgic for the days of Dragon Warrior. It's one of those games where half the fun is figuring out what to do. The basic concept becomes intuitive after you play a couple times. (via pastemob)

it's never intuitive. it's a bunch of guessing and more guessing. sometimes you can get rid of a few combinations of guessing by thinking a bit, but in the end it's more guessing.

but you're right about the nostagia. it reminds me of zelda too.

I'm not sure I get it. I just played it twice and did better the second time, but I don't really follow what's happening.

That damned dragon keeps burning me.

there are 8! factorial possible ways to play the game. since it takes much fewer attempts than that number to solve it, it's not completely a guessing game.

Do you know if the game actually has a solution?

Slater | Wed, 10/26/2005 - 8:50am

Yessir, I solved it myself.

crazymonk | Wed, 10/26/2005 - 9:01am

Fun game. Solved it pretty quickly, though felt like a big dork afterwards.

Ah, finally got it. Yes, after spending two hours of my time, I
too feel like a big dork.

Try the others: the original grow, and grow cube.
