Grand Canyon Bridge

Check out this proposal for a glass skywalk that juts out 70 feet over the part of the Grand Canyon in the Hualapai Indian Reservation. It's on the western rim of the canyon, only 120 miles east of Las Vegas. I wish I knew a little more about the architectural properties of cantilevers.

I wonder how this will affect the viewscape from below or nearby. Nonetheless,
my instict is to cheer the tribe for a somewhat innovative adaptation
on an old idea.

To quote Norm MacDonald: It's all part of their plan to have a huge disaster.

70 feet or 80 yards out? that'd be impressive with the 80 yards.

i thought it was cool until they said glass floor as well. i don't think i can be able to walk out 70 feet (or 80 yards) and see 4000 feet of air below me.
