Anderson, Baumbach, and the Coens: a trio of articles

The most recent issue of New York magazine has a trio of articles about the people behind three movies I'm looking forward to see this Fall:

  • A profile on Wes Anderson and the making of The Darjeeling Limited.
  • A piece on the underlying philosophy of the films of the Coen brothers. "The first nine-tenths of...No Country for Old Men...is the best thing they’ve ever done."
  • An article about married couple Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale) and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and their first film working together, Margot at the Wedding.
