10th anniversary of Ágætis byrjun

In celebration of today's 10th anniversary of the release of Sigur Rós's Ágætis byrjun, sigur-ros.co.uk has put up a mini-site with memories, outtake sound clips, and videos. I first heard "Svefn-g-englar" in 2000 and immediately ran to the long-gone Other Music in Harvard Square to pick up an import copy. It completely blew me away in a way that I don't think an album has in its first listen since. If you haven't checked it out yet, now's the time.

Ah yes, Jonsi's voice does have the ability to travel through several closed doors.

was i there with you at other music? i remember my first and only venture to the store was with an ecstatic crazymonk and a sigur ros disc. i can't remember if it's that one. later on in med school, i actually did go to a sigur ros concert at the pavillion.

I think that was the only Sigur Ros CD I bought at OM (Von I think I ordered online), so then I guess you were with me.
